Long, level,
dairy and elegant, Sine Qua Non is a replica of her lovely dam.
As a kid, she was 2nd and RGCH Junior at the California
State Fair, and 1st and Junior GCH at the Mendocino County Fair.
As a dry yearling, she was GCH and BIS at the Gold Country DGA
under Karen Senn. Sine finished her championship as a first
freshening two year-old at her first two shows. She was also 1st
place and Reserve Grand Champion (to her dam, Kuma)
at the Sonoma County Fair, 1st place and Reserve Grand Champion
at the California State Fair, and then finished the year off by
going Grand Champion and Best In Show at the Mendocino County
Fair.
As a three year-old, Sine continued her
winning ways, placing Grand Champion at the extremely
competitive Sonoma County Fair; Grand Champion and Best In Show
at the Mendocino County Fair; she also won three additional Best
of Breeds.
Sine has matured into our best doe ever. She has
tremendous size and scale, but remains balanced and correct. Her
mammary system is extremely well attached with high and tight
rear and fore attachments. In 2007, Sine's strongest win came at
the Sonoma County Fair where she was Grand Champion and Best
Udder of Breed, defeating both the reigning 2007 National and
Reserve National Alpine Champions. In addition, Sine was Best of
Breed and Best in Show in all three rings at the REDGA doe shows
where she was shown (including the District VIII Specialty), 1st
place Four Year-Old and Reserve Best Alpine Udder at the
California State Fair, and Grand Champion and Best in Show at
the Mendocino County Fair.
We are pleased that her 2007 son,
X-rated, was purchased by Redwood Hill Farm. We also look
forward to freshening her only daughter, Wanton, in 2008. Sine is
bred to Freelance and due in
March.
